Arsenal's Emirates stadium to host Brazil VS Chile in March

Arsenal Football Club is delighted to announce that Emirates Stadium will host an international friendly match between Brazil and Chile on Sunday, March 29, 2015.

The match will kick off at 3pm and the Club is pleased to announce that Arsenal members will receive the exclusive first rights on purchasing tickets for this high profile fixture, with ticket prices starting from £15 for concessions and £30 for adults*. It is urged that all ticket purchases are made as soon as possible, in order to avoid disappointment.

The South American clash promises to be an exciting encounter, with emerging force Chile going up against Brazil, the most successful team in World Cup history, with five titles.

The clash at Emirates Stadium will be the first time that the teams have met since the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, when the hosts won a dramatic encounter 3-2 on penalties, after finishing 1-1 after extra time in one of the tournament's best and most fiercely fought matches. The match in London will provide both teams with good preparation ahead of this summer's Copa America tournament in Chile in what could be a dress-rehearsal for the final.

Arguably two of the most talented footballers in the world will be playing against each other in this mouth-watering clash, with Brazil and Barcelona star Neymar facing Arsenal's very own hero, Alexis Sanchez.

Furthermore, the Brazil national team also currently features famous names such as Philippe Coutinho, Willian, Oscar and David Luiz, with the Chile side including players well-known to football fans, such as Arturo Vidal, Mauricio Isla, Gary Medel and Eduardo Vargas.

This will be the seventh time that the Brazil national team has played at Emirates Stadium. The Brazil v Chile match follows the successful staging of Brazil v Scotland in March 2011; Brazil v Republic of Ireland in March 2010; Brazil v Italy in February 2009; Brazil v Sweden in March 2008; Brazil v Portugal in February 2007 and Brazil v Argentina shortly after the opening of Emirates Stadium in September 2006.

Arsenal Chief Executive Officer Ivan Gazidis said: "Everyone at Arsenal Football Club is proud to once again be hosting a high profile international match at Emirates Stadium.

"The national teams of Brazil and Chile have many fantastic players and the match will give football fans the opportunity to watch an international friendly of the highest calibre.

"It's a compliment to both Arsenal Football Club and Emirates Stadium that we will once again be hosting a fixture of this magnitude. We are all looking forward to what is sure to be a fantastic occasion."
